Policy

It is the policy of the SCSTC to protect sensitive information received through its website and as such develop and maintain a website privacy policy. It is also the SCSTC policy to remain consistent with the privacy procedures and practices of its member district school boards.

Protection of Information

Most requests from the SCSTC website do not require entry of personal information. There may be occasions the SCSTC collects personal information if the respondent chooses to provide it. Examples of this may include filling out an on-line form or contacting the SCSTC through email.

The Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium will protect provided personal information and will not disclose this information without requesting permission. Information is protected and used in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Collecting Website Statistics

The SCSTC collects website statistics in order to analyze trends, administer its site, and track usage. The collection of this information is not linked to personal information.
